Might as well just state it for the record

Since people are gonna know by now anyway, but I have left the Facebook Slenderverse group, and am no longer affiliated with the creator’s group at large.

I know what you’re thinking: “Oh Christ, he took that drama too seriously, and now he’s quitting all butthurt about it, right?”

No, actually. I left two hours before everything exploded. Although I will admit, the timing was pretty terrible on my part. XD

So why’d I leave? Same reason Ethan left. I felt it was time to move on. The only reason I was still there was because of Seeking Truth/Mystic, but they’re over, and that’s the past. Being there simply for past accomplishments did not feel sufficient enough for me. And I have no plans to continue writing Slender Man at any point in the near future.

It’s time to acknowledge the past and look to the future. This series I’m scripting, as well as my current FF stories, are my priorities right now. They are what I’m working on. My goal right now is to get this series off the ground. And I feel that I’m not really accomplishing anything by sticking around.

With that said, this is certainly not good-bye. My Facebook, Tumblr, and Skype are all still public, and anyone who needs/wishes to speak to me are absolutely free to do so. I’m not dropping off the map entirely. I’m not angry at anyone, my rage from earlier has calmed down as Lyn has been getting better. I hold no ill will. And I definitely will go to meet-ups that are held, I still hope to be in Jersey in the next few weeks to pitch my series idea, and definitely still am open to any plans to collaborate where it’s needed *wink wink nudge*.

I’m just not officially associated with the group as a whole. That’s all it really means. And it’s just a group, really. Not the end of anything other than that.

So yeah. Just figured I’d get that out now before the rumors flew XP
